The Academy of Painting “Stati Art” from the Republic of Moldova provides training for students at the Faculty of Fine Arts, specialty Painting. The graduates of the Academy will obtain the title of Bachelor of Arts and will be able to work as: painters, teachers of fine arts, researchers in arts, art managers. The language of instruction is Romanian. The Academy provides full-time programme with the duration of four years. APSA implements the European Credit Transfer System.
June – July 2016 - application of candidates. The candidates may apply for the entrance examinations by filling in the online application form on the website of APSA.
End of July 2016 - submitting the set of documents for the competition for admission to studies
End of July 2016 2016 - entrance examinations and announcing the results.
NOTE: Schedule for entrance examinations will be posted on the website of APSA in late MAY 2016
Note: If after the entrance examinations all places of enrolment plan are not covered, the competition will be announced repeatedly for August 2016.
Admission to APSA is organised on a competitive basis, in compliance with the law in force.
Entrance examinations at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Specialty Painting include:
1.Practical exam in Drawing. Portrait – drawing from model (9 hours). Technique: the candidate will choose the technique and easel drawing materials – coal, sanguine, sous etc. Size: 40 / 50 cm.
2. Practical exam in Painting. Portrait – painting from model (9 hours). Technique: oil on canvas. Size: 40 / 50 cm.
Practical exam in Composition. Creating a composition on a given topic. (6 hours). Technique: oil on canvas. Size: maximum size of the longest side 70 cm.
Interview: oral The candidate will present in front of the Admissions Board works previously created by him/her. These will be not more than 20 artworks created from model (drawings, paintings, compositions, sketches, etc.)
5. The Romanian language examination: oral and written Compulsory examination for foreign students.
Note! All materials for all practical tests (painting, drawing, composition) included in the admission methodology will NOT be supplied by the Academy. The candidate must purchase all these materials.
